Whats included in Obagi Nu-derm kit?

Both the Obagi Nu-Derm Normal to Dry and the Normal to Oily Transformation System include a host of products that aid you in having a skincare routine that suits your skin’s specific needs.

In our Normal to Dry variation, the kit includes:

• Gentle Cleanser 200ml

• Toner 198ml

• Clear Fx 57g

• Exfoderm 57g 

• Blend Fx 57g

• Hydrate 48g

• Sun Shield MATTE Broad-Spectrum SPF50 85g 

We recommend this rejuvenating system for anyone who classifies their skin as being normal to dry, and who has moderate to severe hyperpigmentation. Including discolouration and melasma, this formulation removes the old dead cells and impurities from the very surface of your skin. This allows the skin to return to a baseline pH. 

The Obagi Nu-Derm Transformation System has then prepared the skin to take on the developed active ingredients and improve on fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin textures. 

Our Normal to Oily kit includes: 

• Foaming Gel 200ml

• Toner 198ml

• Exfoderm Forte 57g 

• Blend Fx 57g

• Hydrate 48g

• Sun Shield MATTE Broad-Spectrum SPF50 85g  

In this system, we have swapped out the gentle cleanser for a foaming gel. Our Obagi Foaming Gel is perfect for an oily skin type, as it includes alfalfa extract which aids in purifying your complexion to condition and regulate your oil output. 

In addition, you also have the replacement of the Exfoderm with the Exfoderm Forte. This stronger exfoliating formulation will smooth your more rough and damaged patches of skin and again, help reduce any excess of oil and overall pore size.

What Order do I use These Products in?

No matter what your skin type is, our team knows that understanding your skincare routine is imperative.  

In this step by step guide, we will be explaining the order in which to use our products from the Obagi Nu-Derm Transformation System.

Step 1: Firstly, begin by cleansing your face with your Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser (Normal to Dry) or the Foaming Gel (Normal to Oily). This helps remove dirt, any excess makeup or acne-causing bacteria. This should always be your first step when it comes to your skincare routine and this act of cleansing your face can even be done alone if you don’t have time to commit to a full cleanse.

Step 2: After cleansing your face, then apply the Nu-Derm Toner. Unlike other toners, our formulation does not dry the skin, so it’s safe to use on most skin types. The toner works to remove any excess oil on your skin and maintain your healthy pH balance, whilst improving the appearance of dark spots and pores. Use our Nu-Derm Toner to prepare the skin for additional treatment products.

Step 3: Next, apply the Nu-Derm Clear FX. This can be applied twice a day, once during your morning routine and also, in the evening. 

Step 4: Exfoliate your skin with the Exfoderm or the Exfoderm Forte. Only use this once a day, when completing your nighttime skincare routine. Our Exfoderm is formulated with Alpha Hydroxyl Acids and specialises in exfoliating dead skin cells. 

Step 5: Following on, next apply the Nu-Derm Blend FX  during your nighttime routine only.  This step promotes healthy cell turnover.

Step 6: After that, moisturise your skin with the Nu-Derm Hydrate. Introducing this step to your everyday routine is perfect if you are experiencing dry or flaky skin as our Hydrate is designed to specifically work to offer relief and comfort for problems such as these. You can do this step twice a day if needed, to help further protect your skin.

Step 7: Then, apply the Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50. A forgotten step of a lot of other skincare routines, the Sun Shield protects you from harmful UVA and UVB rays which can age your skin quickly.

Step 8: Finally, our Obagi Retinol is the last step in our PM system. With a highly-concentrated retinol formula, this step will help you fight all signs of premature ageing and promote a more healthy, radiant and youthful complexion.
