DESCRIPTION

KELO-COTE® Formula Scar UV Gel is a silicone gel for the management, prevention and reduction of scars. KELO-COTE® scar serum can be used on scars resulting from trauma, pregnancy stretch marks, surgery and burns. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of keloids.

KELO-COTE® Scar Gel self-dries to a waterproof, gas permeable membrane that acts like an extra layer of skin. The silicone scar gels helps to soften, flatten and smooth the scars, while maintaining the moisture balance and elasticity of the adjacent skin. It has also been shown to reduce the discolouration and itching associated with scars.

HOW TO USE

For best results reducing the appearance of scars, apply KELO-COTE® Scar Gel twice daily, morning and evening, on clean dry skin for a duration of 60-90 days. Larger and older scars may take longer to see results and continued use is recommended if improvement is still seen after the initial 90 days.Once dry, KELO-COTE® Scar Gel can be covered with pressure garments, sun block or cosmetics. Must not be used on broken skin.
